SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully website functional office focused on service the area daily. The support point developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access read more to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
